This island has a cherry top with wings that fold down, and is stained with a green stain and poly top coat. The customer on this project had a very small space, and wanted seating area (wings) for her grandchildren to sit at, and also a spot for her cat. If you look close, you will see a small door opening on the side, which when opened, allows for her cat to go in and eat. It also has another passage to the far side to where her litter box is at. All accessible from the front doors. It is also designed with a large opening for a large cutting board and other items and the drawers are deep. I also built matching bar style stools to match the island.
